Natural History Museum

Since the opening of the Natural History Museum in 1881 by Richard Owen it has remained one of London's most attractive museums with a 200m facade. Richard Owen was an amazing figure who arranged expeditions around the globe to collect treasures for the museum's cabinets.

In the 1990's it found itself with one of the most marketable commodities - real dinosaurs, amongst the huge collection of historical artifacts. Not all are on show as many more are hidden away in the vaults.
