| The Westland Hotel is committed to improving accessibility for all customers within our hotel. The company is progressing with a major programme to survey our property and implement a plan to make it “reasonably compliant” with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. |
- A portable ramp is available at Reception to overcome the 3 small entrance steps however assistance is required for this.
- Rooms are available on the ground floor [86cm main & bathroom door width, turning space for wheelchairs, teletext TV & Guide dogs welcome].
- The Lift accesses all floors including the Breakfast room with level access and is large enough for a wheelchair. [76cm door width, interior 140x94cms] It also has Braille push buttons.
- Car Park is located nearby but without direct access – assistance can be given at Hotel entrance to unload luggage etc. and with prior arrangement the car can be parked safely on your behalf.
