1. How do we get to the hotel from the Airport ?
"Westland Hotel " is accessible by train, taxi, car, bus and tube. For details See Getting here
2. How do I reserve my hotel room?
The reservation process we have established is very simple. After you have entered all the information in the Reservations Page , we will confirm your reservation as soon as possible.
3. Which credit cards are accepted?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Discover.
       

4. How close are you to local attractions?
There is plenty to do since we are located in the Heart of London. For details go to Local Attractions page.
5. Can I have my breakfast brought to my room?
Yes you can, there is a small charge of £1.20/person
6. Does the Hotel have a lift?
Yes our lift accesses all floors of the building.
7. Does the Hotel have safe deposit boxes for guest use?
Yes we have individual safe boxes for rent in Reception. A deposit is levied for the key along with a nominal sum charged on a weekly rate. Boxes only operate with a key kept at reception and the key you are given.
8. Do you have non-smoking rooms?
Eventually we hope to do this but due to the size of the Hotel we are unable to do so. Having said that all rooms are well aired and maintained.
9. Does The Westland have air conditioning?
The Hotel is not a purpose built modern building and the character of the building does not allow for this facility nor does the British weather! However we can offer fans on a request basis.

10. How big are the beds?
Our single beds are a regular 3ft
Double beds can be either 4ft 6inches [Queen] or 6ft [King] depending on the room available. If you need the larger size please advise upon booking.

12. How do I make changes or cancellations to my reservations?
To make changes to your existing reservation, please e-mail,telephone or fax us as soon as possible bearing in mind our canellation policy.

14. What public transport is there nearby?
Westland Hotel is on a main road so buses and taxis are virtually on our door-step. There are three Underground stations within easy walking distance.
15. How can I be sure that my credit card information is secure?
A secure server is in operation and The Westland maintains its records as per our Privacy Statement.
16. What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?
Check out time is Noon
Check in time is 1pm onwards….
17. What happens if the client damages any property of The Westland Hotel?
The Client is responsible to The Westland Hotel for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings/equipment therein or to the Hotel generally by any act, default or neglect of the Client or guests of the Client and shall pay to The Westland Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
18. Are there any VAT benefits to shopping in London?
Tourists who have purchased anything between £50 - £100 should keep all receipts and reclaim the 17.5% VAT.

19. How does the hotel provide security to its clients?
The safety of our guests is essential to us therefore all bedrooms are fitted with “peep-holes” in doors and double door locks. Safe boxes are available at Reception for a nominal fee. We also have CCTV cameras in place and staff members on duty 24 hours a day.
20. Does the hotel have environmental policies in place?
The Westland believes that we are all environmentally responsible and plays a big part of the way in which we operate on a daily basis.
This is reflected in the service we offer our guests by operating a water conservation policy in relation to the laundering of towels that allows guests to choose if they which to have them laundered on a daily basis or not.
The Westland also recycles either directly or indirectly about 70% of all paper/packaging materials, glass & plastic.
The Hotel also operates the central heating system through the winter months only, but provides supplementary electric heaters in rooms operated on a timer basis.

In order to comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us to prevent unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or loss of information under our control. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we are able to disclose information to you.

We would remind you that you are legally entitled to access, modify, correct and delete data relating to you and that you have a legal right to forbid this data being passed to any other party.
